Why Should I Get a Nutritional Assessment?
Because it’s a different type of treatment plan than you’re probably used to. A Nutritionist doesn’t just numb the symptom(s) so that you can go back to thinking you’re healthy. We heal, which means finding the root of the problem and assessing the best course of action to remove it. This is the first step; to determine where the distress is coming from. Without a nutritional assessment, we can only provide you with basic nutritional guidelines where we examine your needs only from the outside.
How The Assessment Works
There are two parts to the assessment:
The 'Lifestyle Assessment'and the ‘ Nutritional Profile’.
The Lifestyle Assessment helps us to better understand the outside factors that contribute to your over all heath.
This refers to:
• Stress and it’s manifestation (Or:Origin of your stress)
• Family history and it’s possible impact on your own particular situation
• Prior trauma
• Emotional status with examination of your own thoughts as to why.
By getting to better know the factors that govern or control your life we can customize a personal nutrition plan.
The Nutritional profile is a system we use to determine where your symptoms originate. By pinpointing the origin of your distress we can incorporate appropriate nutritional and lifestyle changes into your plan. Our goal of course, your recovery.
