Guacamole

Most people can wrap their head around the basic guacamole. You've had it in every mexican resturant most likely. So we thought we would mix it up for you and keep things interesting. Adding pomegranate seeds or finely diced granny smith apple sets our guac apart

Guacamole

Ingredients

For 6 people ()

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 3 tablespoon(s) cilantro chopped
  • 3 tablespoon(s) serrano chilies
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper

Directions

  1. Combine avocado, cilantro, green onion, and serrano chiles in processor. Puree until smooth. Add 1/4 cup water and 21/2 tablespoons lime juice and process to blend. 
  2. Add more water to avocado mixture by tablespoonfuls if needed and blend until thick sauce forms.
  3. Transfer to small bowl; season to taste with coarse salt and pepper and more lime juice. Fold in pomegranate seeds or apple, if desired. DO AHEAD: Can be made 2 hours ahead. Cover and chill.
