The Feast in-house kitchen is free from gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. Culinary Nutritionist, Sandra Bruton is thrilled to be able to offer the Jr. Sure Chef program in an allergy friendly environment.

Our fun, hands-on classes are a wonderful introduction to the world of cooking. The children will be introduced to cooking vocabulary and techniques, tools and utensils, the basics of etiquette, nutrition, safety, kitchen math and new foods! Teaching children with food allergies that home cooking can be nutritious and delicious is a life skill they will cherish. Being of the allergic or sensitive type greatly limits the choices you have available to you. I am so passionate about showing people just how freeing that can be.
In this classes we will also explore taste, texture and smell, which help them to develop a sense of what foods they like and in what combinations. Once they know what they like, they can start to build a recipe folder with all the different possibilities of delicious meals they can make.
